Terms and conditions
Please make sure you have read and agree to the terms and conditions when placing an order.
Receipt of an order by the Highland Hamper Company is accepted on the understanding that this has been done.
Prices – are in £ Sterling.
Delivery
– we can only accept orders and delivery to addresses within the UK.
Please make sure you provide a delivery address where you or someone
else you instruct will be able to sign for receipt of your order. No
responsibility will be accepted if the carrier has to leave the goods on
your doorstep.
Cancellations & returns
– orders can be cancelled by email, telephone or post within 3 working
days of ordering. If the goods have been dispatched by us, cancellation
will only be accepted on receipt by us of the returned goods in their
original packaging. All returns to us are at your own expense. No
cancellations will be accepted if made later than 7 working days after
receipt of the goods by you. In the event of cancellation and in
accordance with these terms, a full refund will be made. In the event of
cancellation after the goods have been dispatched by us the refund will
only be made on receipt by us of the returned goods less any return
carriage charges not paid by you.
Complaints
– if you have cause for complaint, please get in touch with us before
returning the goods. We would advise customers to open boxes and check
contents as soon as possible. Return costs are not prepaid. Postage or
other return costs will be at the customer’s expense and will be
reimbursed by us only in the case of goods being inedible or broken or
damaged in transit.
Payment
– should be made in £ Sterling only by credit or debit card through
Paypal on this website or by cheque when sending the order form on this
site. Please note that if paying by cheque, goods will not be released
until payment is cleared through the banking system.
Availability
– we do our best to have a full selection of goods in stock but in the
event of a product being unavailable, we will contact you to suggest an
alternative. Normally you should receive your order within a week of
payment being received by us and we will contact you if there is likely
to be a delay.
Intellectual property
– all rights including without limitation copyright, design and
trademark rights in this website are owned by the Highland Hamper Company.
Changes – we reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information from this site if required.
Force majeure
– No liability will be accepted by the Highland Hamper Company for any
failure or delay in performance which is wholly or partially due to
acts of god, war, fire, explosion, riot or civil commotion, restriction
by government or other competent authority, strikes, lockouts, failure
in supplies or any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the seller.
